Thanks to brilliant marketing efforts from companies such as Vital Proteins, it's actually been the rage for quite some time. As a Registered Dietitian, I'm constantly getting asked about the efficacy of different supplements, and collagen is one of the more popular supplements I'm asked about.
It's time I dive deeper into the research to better understand the role of collagen in the body, as well as the scientific evidence of the benefits of collagen supplements, and I'm taking you with me!
